Life’s got this funny way of throwing you off course—unless you learn to ride the waves. For me, that wave hit when I watched Good Will Hunting and Dead Poets Society back-to-back during my junior year. Before that, I was pursuing a finance degree I didn’t even care about. But that night, I realized I wanted something different.
The next semester, I signed up for an acting class, and it felt like catching the perfect wave. I kept riding that momentum, working every side gig I could—Uber, Grubhub, DoorDash—just to save up and head to California to make it happen. I love playing laid-back, free-spirited characters—surfers, skaters, rebellious youths, or anyone with a chill vibe. These roles remind me to let go, have fun, and enjoy the ride, even when life gets serious. |
